This is of course a zombie book. This novel details the genesis of a fictitious British Zombie Apocalypse. It has been described as: "A mix of apocalyptic horror with a dollop of Scottish humour." Book 1 is written from the perspectives of various, already fairly damaged locals as the apocalypse hits. As you would expect from a zombie book, there are some gory scenes. This novel would probably be best described as a mix of Trainspotting meets George A Romero with a dollop of Shaun of the Dead mixed in.
