Ghosts in Our World When you hear the term ghost story the first thing most of us think about is a haunted house, Halloween or a Hollywood movie. That certainly makes a lot of sense and who doesn’t like a good ghost story in a haunted house? Over the years I’ve learned that many real, everyday people have had brief ghostly encounters in their everyday lives. The vast majority of ghostly encounters only happens once to a person and then never reoccurs. Very often social pressures of believing in the existence of ghosts will ebb away at the strong belief the person once held and these stories tend to slip away and never get told. As a novice storyteller and a collector of ghostly tales, I hope to reverse that trend by shedding light upon them. While these short stories may be brief, they can still be frightening and quite chilling when they happen to you. Do you believe?
