About the Author

Elliot Dean Rance (1990 - ) was born and raised in the quiet, countryside village of Parbold, Lancashire. During his high school years he would dabble in many creative hobbies but one that would truly stick would be writing. During lunchtimes you would probably find him trying to stave off the boredom of school by sitting under a tree writing any number of interesting fantasies that would pop into his head, this boy had no idea that years later his work would be published. Such an innovative mind would no doubt seek out a vocation that needs innovation so he went on to study Mechanical Engineering in college, thinking it would be a good challenge for him. A challenge it certainly was but he soon realized that the qualification didn't mean much in the engineering world. Ten years of a normal, monotonous life later and Elliot would find himself unemployed and with a lot of time on his hands so he started to dream and write again. Gathering a positive response from the work he put out, he decided to take the next step and make a short story magazine on Facebook: The Phenomenon Mysteries Magazine. There, he honed his skills as a mystery writer for over a year with the issues becoming larger and more complex after every release. He then thought that he could challenge himself more by writing a novel under a different genre than what he was used to. Thus, the Heroes of Oarborne series was born and lots more yet to come that's for sure!
