The Invasion

It starts out on A-Shift at the local fire station, it’s a medium sized city about thirty thousand people. The day they left their homes, their families, their kids, and their wives they thought it was going to be a normal day. They gave their hugs and kisses to the family before they walked out the door and went to work, expecting to save a life and run a few calls like usual A-Shift does. A-Shift has a group of hard working “bad asses” would be the best way to put it, they all have each other’s back…especially when shit hits the fan. What they didn’t know though, was that this was not going to be an ordinary A-Shift. This A-Shift was going to be the last normal A-Shift they every worked at the local fire house, but it would not be the last time they depend on each other for help and a shoulder to lean on when your partner doesn’t think he can go any further. Please note that I wrote this while I was in high school during my own time. I figured I would put it out there just to get feedback from others. I appreciate any constructive criticism.
