About the Author

Brett W. Mauser is a veteran of the independent film world. A producer of over 30 feature films, his films lean strongly toward science fiction. Restricted by limited budgets and resources, he turned to novels, where he could allow his imagination to run wild without the constraints of having to ask himself, "Can we do that with the money we have?" THE BETA HUNTERS is the first novel of his holistic universe that was first created on film. His new series elaborates on areas that couldn't be covered in the theatrical universe and tells the stories that couldn't be told on an independent film budget.
