Kyle claims he can see and hear strange, abnormal creatures coming from a dark alternate world known as The Dead Zone. Without understanding the nature of why he can see these peculiar phenomena, which only he can see and no one else. Kyle was sent away by his father to live inside a mental health facility to cure his traumatized mind. After ten years of psychological treatment, Kyle returns home, after recent developments with his trauma. Kyle heads back to his ordinary reality, only to face a much dangerous threat known as Nightshade.
