The moon is a crescent. He’s killing again. She’s blogging again. After being kept on suicide watch, Candice - an ambitious, socially inept young crime blogger - finds herself entangled with Toby, her enigmatic therapist and owner of the local Crisis Hotline Butterfly. Together, and with the help of Toby's skeptical assistant, they confront Candice's obsession with a local serial killer she found in the patterns of missing persons. When the Bayou Christina Killer begins hitting close to home and Candice receives more and more hostile calls while volunteering at Butterfly, she decides to go after the killer on her own. But Candice may learn more than she ever cared to on her quest for the first interview with the Bayou Christina Killer. What she’ll do with new information changes everything, for everyone.
