The Exchange: Life for Death (Gabriel)

What's that sound? Change. What's that feeling stirring within me? Desire. Gabriel is a vampire, and as vampire nature dictates, he never grows old. Created at the end of the 1300's, to the present day he has not changed; His values are the same, his face is the same, and so is that pesky blood lust. What separates him from others of his kind, is the fact that he is one out of every five hundred who has a special gift besides the usual vampire abilities. Gabriel is even more rare because he can break that vampire rule and Change. With no emotion, driven purely by instinct for over six hundred years, Gabriel finds that he must change or die. Fighting not only himself, but the ones who want to control him, Gabriel must decide what and who is now important and what is not.

About the Author

Hey, I'm Monica Manngard, and I write the kind of stories I want to read. This includes fiction, the supernatural, romance, and adventure; the best story, in my opinion, being one that combines all of those elements. Besides being a writer, I am a full time second-year college student, a sculptor, a daughter, and a dreamer. My interests go farther than the two-dimensional page; all the way to the green of a soccer field, into the clear blue of the sea, and to the front row of an Aerosmith concert. I may just be getting started but I have much more to come; check it out!
