Group Meeting

(Novella) Welcome to the halfway house, a facility for people recovering from severe mental illness. The halfway house was designed to hold 30 people, but instead there are only four residents. Each has a sinister past. While they are taking part in a program designed to help people learn to live in the outside world, each knows that they can never leave. The outside world will never be ready for them. It's a strange, artificial world. It becomes stranger with the arrival of "the new girl". Only two of the residents see her. Another hears her.Their counsellor tries to understand what is happening. People, no matter how ill, do not share hallucinations. Could the resident who believes the facility is haunted actually be right? Is there any more reasonable explanation? How is someone moving about the hallways of the facility, without being seen by the security cameras?
