Charles & Cody are two friends caught smack dab inside a zombie apocalypse nightmare. They kill some zombies while holed up in a department store. However, they are not killing cold blooded dead things. These people are like them; people who can’t sleep and haven’t for months. Flashback one year to the beginning. Charles and Cody head into work after days of insomnia. On the way, they encounter erratic behavior, violent accidents and the delusional. All because no one can sleep. Everyone is in a constant state of becoming more zombie-like every day.Issue No. 2: Charles & Cody are beginning to realize that the people around them are changing. They are becoming more exhausted and ill-tempered and they are trapped inside the department store where they work. Trying to avoid hostilities the duo rush to the manager's office to encounter the assistant manager who may be turning into a zombie right in front of their eyes.
