A cognitively challenged ghost from 1930 lands smack dab in the middle of a family living in 2008. Marvin Sims is the ghost of a man who died in 1930 in a barn. Now in 2008 he has been carried into the farmhouse with pieces of the barn which has been torn down. Inside the house he finds a world he could not imagine and human conflicts that addle his slow thinking brain. He is also forced to deal with issues regarding his own past life and death. Will Marvin be able to use this experience for growth and to move on? Travel with him as he struggles with being a slow-thinking ghost in the modern world.

Marvin, a slow thinking man from the 1930's dies in a barn on a farm where he worked. Unable to think what he should do, Marvin does nothing and so he remains in the old barn until it is torn down. This story revolves around how a cognitively challenged man from the 1930's tries to make sense out of the world of today, while struggling to figure out how he can go into the light.
