A perilous journey begins in the English Lake District when a hiker is lost to his wife in cloud and mist to be found later having witnessed horrors beyond belief. A group of travellers then attempt to locate the entrance to hell after finding an ancient text showing them the way. The journey with the help of two occult magicians and a Rabbi leads them to Israel and tasks them confronting a number of demons leaving them all open to losing their very souls. The plot thickens when one of the group manifests himself to be their saviour from the evil they will face.
