About the Author

Scientist, author, entrepreneur, artist, and self-described renaissance woman: Susanne works as a freelance programmer who develops software used in neuroscience research. By night she loves to write, make art and play music. She is the author of the "Archons of the Fifth Age" sci-fi book series. Her first, non-fiction book, "Neural Interfacing: Forging the Human-Machine Connection," is available from most major book stores and online. Susanne graduated with a B.S. in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995, a Ph.D. In Neuroscience from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 2001 and completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Kentucky.
