Molly O'Neal: Caskets, Cupcakes, and Bedroom Windows

Activity in the spirit world increased in October, and the protective shield around Molly’s house weakened each day. Molly’s family felt a foreboding presence lurking and tried to prepare. No one predicted what happened on All Hallows Eve, 1961. Molly’s beloved teacher, Mother Theresa, falls ill, so Dennis Burn, an undertaker by trade, takes over for her. He takes an instant disliking to Molly until he meets her mother, Anna. He soon becomes obsessed with Anna and the rest of the family and tries to insinuate himself into their lives. For Molly, he becomes the substitute teacher from hell. It turns out that Mr. Burn has an identical twin in a prison for the criminally insane. Molly and her mother begin to wonder if they locked up the wrong twin.
