About the Author

I just published my eighth collection of horror stories with surprise endings, Dead Things: A Collection of Horror . I truly believe some of my best work is in this collection. Hopefully, my readers will agree. My third compilation of mostly horror stories with surprise endings, "Don't Look Behind You", has been a best seller on Amazon. Thanks to everyone who helped make it my most successful offering. In order to satisfy requests from readers who enjoy thrills and chills, but not as much horror, I compiled "Thrillers & Chillers" from my first two compilations, "Black As Night" and "Shivers and otheer Nightmares." Afterward, I created another compilation of the remaining, most gruesome stories from the first two books entitled "In Your Face Horror". All are available on amazon.com in paperback and kindle. My web site, billywellshorror.com, includes sample stories from all eight collections. I have just completed my ninth book, which I will probably title, Scary Stories-Volume 6.Since reviews are the life's blood of every author, I would greatly appreciate a review of any of my books on Amazon.com.Stephen KIng is my favorite horror writer, and I admire what King has accomplished in the horror genre in terms of movies made from his considerable volume of work. My Coffeesmoke channel on You Tube has amassed over 2,300,000 hits, mostly from my "Dead Celebrities" videosI love movies and had seen over 1,500 by the age of 13 when there was snow on 13 channels after midnight. My favorite horror movies are Halloween, Night of the Living Dead, and the Evil Dead. My favorite movie of all time Is Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life with James Stewart.
