Mark's Transmogrification: The Power of the Hecate Cycle

Children are going missing in the little town of Amity and Mark Brewer is trying to find out why. When Mark decides to investigate the disappearances he is met with adversity from members of the community and rumors are running rampant of these events having happened before. The small town of Amity once seemed a pleasant little place but now it seems that the town and the residents are harboring a sinister secret. This is a tale of witchcraft, family secrets and much more...Excerpt:I simply typed “Disappearance” in the box and listed Topic as my type of search and hit enter. An array of articles appeared from 13 years ago. I noticed that the many of the articles indicated missing girls and all seemed to be filed rather close to one another. Noting the number 163.89, 163.92, 163.94 and 163.99 I began to search the cabinets to find the files.Walking around the room I was able to find the cabinets marked with 160 and to my surprise there were four cabinets each containing four drawers matching the number range. Pulling open the drawers I was able to quickly locate the first number 163.89, and pulled out the large piece of plastic film that surely contained the article I had been searching for.Taking the film to one of the machines, I turned it on letting the light bulb warm up and placed the film on the platform. After a quick adjustment to the zoom on the transfer lens for magnification, words began to come into focus on the screen.“Child Abducted in Amity”As I began to look over the article, several sections of the text had been blacked out. As a matter of fact the only thing that could be learned from the article was that the incident occurred in Amity and that a child had been abducted thirteen years ago. Thinking this was strange, I associated the extraction of information as an attempt to hide the identity of the child that was abducted and maybe that the case had been sealed in the court system.Moving on through the other articles on the film, I quickly noticed that most of the information on the page had been extracted. Feeling frustrated I returned to the film cabinet and found the next sheet that was on my list of articles related to disappearances.163.92, when I found it I returned to the machine and loaded the film according to the instructions and scanned left to right then down a row and continued to search until I could find the article I was looking for.“Another Child Abducted in Amity”There it is I thought. Like the first article a large amount of the information had been extracted but there was a little more information regarding where it happened. The article named a street, 2nd street to be more specific. This was confusing as none of the streets in the town had numeric values. So although there was more information, it was not fruitful as it now posed more questions than answers.What will Mark find when he digs deeper into the disappearances of the children of Amity. What is the secret that this town is hiding, when he finds the answer it will change everything he knows and loves...
