Well before the fear of a zombie attack, there were only a few basic rules to survive: Find suitable shelter, immediately board up all windows and barricade all doors. If even to survive the initial invasion, one would have needed to begin stock-piling weapons and supplies, for the fight with vicious gangs and crazed looters would unfortunately occur, sadly, inevitably, for they themselves would have failed to prepare. Within the chilly fall air in the formerly peaceful mountain town, the leaves had begun to change according to the season. To Mark, before finding oneself in the middle of a zombie infested nightmare, at first, there were only unconfirmed reports by a shock jock radio personality of a strange viral outbreak in the nearby city. It would be Mike Smith, the town’s Park Ranger (Mark’s father) that would ultimately end up paying the price, missing in his search for answers. Formerly on the brink of death, across a zombie ravaged landscape, a new hero would soon emerge to take the mantle of Sheriff. While details of the savior’s amazing feats were seeming the stuff of legend, for the survivors alongside the new Sheriff, in search of safety and security, away from the monsters that lurk, the true test of survival would mean surviving the long, treacherous journey up the mountain to Millionaires Row, a place only rumored to exist.
