About the Author

Mark Canniff was born and raised for the first twelve years in Seattle Washington. The next thirteen was in England. Mark's mom's new husband was an Englishman. He asked her to bring her two children (Mark and his sister, Jaye) to England. So, at 12, Mark finished his education in the UK. There he received an A-Level in English Literature (at 21). Approximately equal to an Associate's Degree in the US. He isn't a paranormal ghost hunter. But, he has experienced: demons, haunted locations, and many apparitions, plus much more. "It's been unnerving" as he would say. His spiritual journey has been with him his entire life. Putting those two together, in his first series, under the title "Island River Tales" is important to him. It's how he shows a positive message, under a paranormal story. He started his creative career by producing short stories and articles. As he grew into his twenties, he found his calling in writing. He began work on a short screenplay (when he was in the film industry) entitled "The Dream". Although the script was never produced, it showed him he had something that people liked. So, the road to "Dream, Recurring", his first novel, began. Now, in the Aviation industry, he sees his future in writing. "This is the first book in a series totaling four stories." Mark married the love of his life in 2004. They have one son and together, his life is complete.
