About the Author

Writing is not just a passion, it's very personal to me, a form of expression. Though all my works are fiction, I tend to add pieces of my life to it. My reason? Life is about learning and experiencing whether good or bad, and taking what we learn and passing it on in someway, for me I do that with writing. I started writing when I was twelve,  stories about myself. In my early teen years I began to experiment with different genres, mostly poetry, fictional romance and supernatural. By age sixteen my writing moved from first to third person POV. It took a while adjusting to creating fictional characters and describing them in detail, I'd become so used to writing about myself and the world around me. I continued to learn and practice, becoming more comfortable, confident, and began to share my work with trusted friends. I continue to write romance and supernatural, also exploring other genres like drama and suspense, and discovered I also enjoyed writing those categories as well. By eighteen I was serious about writing, immersed in it. I had set genres also, do to always going back to the same ones and find comfort in those areas. However I found I was lacking detail in my writing. My best friend, biggest fan and critic, had read a final draft of a romance-drama I wrote, he mentioned that all the romance I write, I seemed to shy away from detailing sex scenes between characters. The reason was embarrassment, I didn't know how to properly detail sex scenes. After reading some pretty detailed romance novels, and getting ideas of how others incorporate different types of sex into their books, I became drawn to the idea of writing erotic-romance and started getting steamy plot ideas for short one-shot stories. But in order to transfer what was in my head to paper, I needed to step outside my comfort zone and leave behind the shyness. It took a while, but I finally got comfortable with that type of writing, and now love mixing it with the other genres I write.
