Azrael was transformed into a vampire in the year 1020, when he was only twenty-one years old. However, his transformation was not an act of his own free will and he was cursed later on by the witches who end his maker's life. The curse was such that he could never be satiated by human blood, a fact that was considered a mercy since he was forced into this existence against his will.Unfortunately, there seemed to be no way to break the curse, as he was deemed unlovable by all due to his vampiric nature. Despite this, there was a rumor that if one followed the rose, they could find a way to help Azrael. Time was of the essence, as the clock was ticking and the curse was never as it seemed.This story was originally released on Kindle vella and has since been removed. The story has been expanded and altered since its original release. ***UPDATED APRIL 2024***
