The Arborist

The terror is growing. The tree wasn’t there yesterday, but today it has appeared in the middle of Wes’s lawn, fully formed. His perfect family doesn’t appreciate nature like he does. They don’t realize that an unearthly mystery has taken up residence in their own back yard.Wes needs to know what it is, and where it came from, because this is no ordinary tree. It’s growing far too quickly, and there are eyes in the darkness, watching. If Wes doesn’t figure this out soon, his perfect family won’t be so perfect anymore.P.T. Phronk presents a short novel of quiet horror that will make you rethink what grows just outside your door.”A haunting without ghosts.”This book also contains a free excerpt from P.T. Phronk’s debut novel, Stars and Other Monsters.

About the Author

Phronk writes about things that don't exist, things that might exist, and things that shouldn't exist. That's a clever way of saying he writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror. He received a PhD in psychology after writing a dissertation about what makes horror films frightening. So he literally wrote the book on horror, and continues to create horrific things by cover of night, while by day, he writes about science and technology, helping people out of modern digital nightmares. Phronk lives in London, Ontario, and no longer has a dog.
