The Adventurer's Castle Club: The Ghost in the Woods is a dramatic and adventurous coming of age story that many young readers will relate to. Readers will be inspired by the main character, who has to move to a small rural town from the city and start a new school. He makes two new friends' as they show their abilities to overcome the obstacles they face, such as bullies, racism, and growing up, all the while they are hunting a ghost they believe is guarding a "treasure" of some kind. Some true historic facts are mingled in with fiction as they research and investigate, while uncovering other secrets about the small rural town. I believe the target audience will be mesmerized by the journeys the characters go on together hunting the ghosts, treasure, and finally confronting the evil ghost.
