About the Author

Mercedez Rose grew up in the temperate Pacific Northwest where it's cloudy most of the year with always the chance of rainfall. She met her husband over a discussion of his  dental hygiene and she knew he was the one as the floss flew wild. Although she is surrounded by the beauties of humanity, her heart beats in tandem to the flight of the umbrella cockatoo as it flies over the rainforest of Indonesia.With her love of the comical and sometimes aggressive fluffy marshmallows known as white cockatoos, she has woven a world where chaos and magic aren't the only wonders to explore.
