Lawrence Harvey is the last man on earth. After an aggressive virus wipes out every living thing on the planet, including his family, he continues to live in his high-rise condo in Manhattan. To combat the absolute loneliness, Lawrence populates his entire neighborhood with mannequins. From businesspeople to kids and families, he creates a whole new world for himself. He imagines that the mannequins are alive. He greets them on the street. He visits the barbershop where he used to get his hair cut and pretends that he’s chatting with the barbers. He hangs out with his favorite bartender in his old Irish pub, tossing back drinks and reminiscing about old times. Lawrence has managed to create a refuge from the horror in a courageous tale of survival. Then one day the mannequins move.
