The Meek Shall . . .

It's Halloween 1986 in Bethpage, Long Island (and everywhere else but we're just going to focus on Bethpage): Bangs are high, jeans are acid-washed and the students at our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic School go through the same rituals and routines as countless Catholic school kids have before them. The seventh-graders are excited to attend their first school dance that night but their joy turns to terror when a vampire crashes the party. Carl, the sarcastic creature of the night, thinking he's in for an easy meal finds out he is in for much more than he expected when he comes up against Sister Mary of the Joyful Sorrows’ students, led by unlikely heroes Abraham Stokely, his best friend Abigail Shaw and Ryan Sullivan, a public transfer student. Go on the harrowing journey of survival, friendship and discovery with the three students and their classmates while learning the true story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the alternate and incendiary uses of Aqua Net, and the reason why number 2 pencils are required equipment in Catholic school classrooms.
