About the Author

A former English Major with a Minor in Drama, I have been fascinated by vampires since childhood. My main literary influences are Stephen King, Anne Rice and Ray Bradbury. I conceived the idea for this book quite some years ago and wrote at a leisurely pace until, surprising myself, I finished the novel. From that time to this, I've done many a rewrite and learned much about writerly things such as point of view, character development and how to craft natural sounding dialogue. Now that I am publishing my novel, I realize that an author's work is never done. That's great, because I have truly enjoyed the process of creating this gift, my book, my ideas, to share with my readers. Here's hoping you will find as much entertainment value in the reading of my story as I have found in the writing of it for you. Oh, and I'll be back with the second part of my Vampire Trilogy and this time around the wait won't be nearly as long.
