Hepburn, Iowa was a quiet and humble town where everyone knew each other, that is until a drifter came walking into town with a few friends, when I say friends, it isn't the type of friends that you usually think about. These friends live in the head of the drifter. These friends tell the drifter what to do, and how to do it. These friends are sinister and evil. In this short story you get to experience what it's like to be in the head of an axe murderer in a small rural town. This short story is based on a famous cold case that is still unsolved to this day, the Villisca Axe Murders.
