The Curse of the Shadow: A Pelmythia Story

For several months, the nefarious bandits known as the Charred Cloaks have terrorized the northern country of Raven Caw. Towns, villages, and their citizens have been reduced to ash, the calling card of this ruthless organization. Led by the charismatic but sadistic human known only as Va-gren, the Charred Cloaks have evaded both mercenaries and law enforcement from the beginning of their expedition of horrific raids.Their latest assault on a small village turned out to be extremely profitable, the gang now prepared to settle in to their mountain stronghold with coffers overflowing with platinum and valuable items, waiting out the blizzard that has set in over the Razorcrag Mountains. However, strange things begin to occur within the stronghold itself. Fatal accidents begin to dwindle the gang's numbers, and Va-gren begins to believe one of his members pillaged a cursed item. As more and more gang members meet grisly ends, Va-gren is convinced the curse has been loosed on their hideout.Can they escape the stronghold and brave the elements to save their very lives? Or will the stone walls of this fashioned den of murderous thieves be the last thing their mortal eyes will see?
