The day began as any typical workday for Lily Hughes. Typical for the new age of ethereal forces blending with yesterday's version of real. Yet darkness also rises, with hunger. By night, the apocalypse had begun. Zombies wore the skin of loved ones, and then ate them. The hunger grew with every victim, and the evil that spawned the terror grew stronger. The undead horde attacks Lily. She escapes into frigid water, but the cold takes her into the black. She awakens, changed. She becomes a bridge between the living and the souls of bodies corrupted as zombies. Can she use this link to stop the horror? Lily is brave, but it is impossible not to fear death and dismemberment when your neighbors are trying to eat you.
