Lina Eonid had just been given another chance at reintegration to society after breaking through a crippling mental disease. She is sent to an Abbey run by the Insensatites to learn how to work for her daily bread. But as soon as she arrives, she feels that not all of her illness has leaked out. Murders, possessions, mass hysteria and vivid 'hallucinations' of dark coalescing blobs plague the world around her and the nearby town of Ibindar. But as the horrors become more and more abstract and physical, Lina finds out that these events are no longer a product of her ill mind. Soon, Lina will uncover the eldritch secrets the Insensatites have kept hidden for centuries under the very foundations of their ancient abbey, the ire of a powerful destroyer deity towards her ancestry and blood line and the prospect of and evanescent consequence that will be the unwitting end of all things to come and be.
