Johnny Lee Dawkins is a former gridiron star and the holder of a BA Degree from Mars Hill College, in Mars Hill, North Carolina and a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Cinema from the University of Southern California. Twice nominated by his peers for the prestigious Writers Guild of America and Humanitas Awards, Mr. Dawkins proudly lists The Emmy, The Christopher, The Gabriel, The George Foster Peabody and The Image Awards among his achievements for outstanding television and motion picture screen-writing. Born in Gaffney, South Carolina, Mr. Dawkins presently resides in the desert of Twenty-nine Palms, California where he enjoys the spiritual tranquility of isolation, warm breezy summer nights and wondrous star-filled skies.
