Sent to train government troops in Kamanga, Geordie is to reclaim a lucrative African diamond mine held by Kamanga rebels and escape the evil spell of a Sin'ganga or witch doctor. As Sharp and his men move in, they discover the rebels are being supported by ex-US Navy SEAL mercenaries. As they try and uncover the hidden agenda, Sharp is taken prisoner. About the Author

Chris Ryan was born in 1961. He joined the SAS in 1984. During his ten years, he was involved in overt and covert operations and was also Sniper team commander of the anti-terrorist team. During the Gulf War, Chris was the only member of an eight-man team to escape from Iraq, for which he was awarded the Military Medal. --This text refers to an alternate paperback edition.
