About the Author

Michael Reiss was a writer for The Village Voice and has a degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Reiss has written and developed screenplays that have been bought by DreamWorks, and others. As a recording artist, he toured the globe with the HotHeads and as a solo performer; has had a Critics' Top Ten Billboard Album, Vibe of Life; a Hot 100 Song, Boom Bye Yae; and songs that have appeared on the Sopranos, Sex in the City, and Little Vampire soundtracks. Reiss has written music videos for bands including INXS, and has written for, produced, and managed numerous recording acts on various record labels, and has worked on the production of events for global superstars and celebrities such as the Dalai Lama and Quincy Jones. Reiss authored Golf and the Art of Customer Service, which is the platform for the highly acclaimed CEO Show. Reiss has created Rap 2 Learn, which is endorsed by many of the country's top educators and is used by thousands of students as an effective learning aid. He splits his time between his homes in Manhattan and the Hamptons. Walter Timoshenko was born in Manhattan, and grew up and went to school in NYC. He has authored a large variety of content including A Brand is a Promise; the children's book Tsakanaki and the Great Big Whale illustrated by Paul Howard (son of Moe Howard, and nephew of Shemp and Curly); and Incredibly Stupid Baby Names - a wonderfully irreverent parody guide to non-traditional names for newborns; and wrote the foreword to 7 Secrets of Extraordinary Investors by Grammy-Award winner William Hammer, Jr. Darryl Kravitz is a professional writer, artist and photographer, and has worked for DC Comics writing Scooby Doo stories, two independent comics, and advertising copywriting for radio and print. Marshall "Mac" Adlington Cook (1980-2012). Born in Maine, Mac was always drawing, and writing stories and poetry as a child - a passion that followed him into adulthood. Mac enlisted in the US Navy, serving on the USS Tarawa during the war in Iraq. At the time of his death, Mac was a graphic artist at KTLA TV and working on numerous freelance projects. Mac was intensely devoted to his family and friends and will always be remembered for his kindness, his humor and intelligence, his compassion and spirituality.
