About the Author

Darren was born in England. After finishing his A-levels, he studied Performing Arts in London on scholarship. Since then Darren has been lucky enough to travel the world, meet lots of interesting people, and do the kind of acting jobs he always wished he could as a kid. Darren now lives in Los Angeles. He has a BA (Hons) Degree in English Language and Literature. As well as writing the Anumal Empire series, David is an actor, a singer in a metal band, and also teaches martial arts. In what little time he has left, David also has two children, and is the owner of a basset hound as well. Pick which ones you think are the biggest handful.
