About the Author

After living several years in a haunted house, Deborah's interest became engaged with paranormal phenomena and she's come to understand that as spiritual beings, living in a 3rd dimensional experience, it is possible for each of us to connect to spirit. Something she's done in a variety of ways, be it from channeling, automatic writing or table tipping (to name a few).    When she sits to write, the stories just come, without plotting or character manipulation, and so for her the experience is similar to channeling. She has no idea what is going to happen until she's written it and so she doesn't know where the story will take her until she gets there! Also, through her storytelling she's had the added benefit of learning new things, such as the spiritual use of symbols (everything in our lives has meaning) and herbal properties (every plant was put here by God for a specific reason!). She hopes her readers gain some value from her stories as well, even if it's nothing more than questioning the paranormal phenomena or spiritual beliefs brought up in the story. Hopefully the questions will lead to the search for answers.   If your mind is open to the idea of reincarnation, spirit contact, spirit guides and more, then her stories should interest you. If you are looking for "horror" with blood and gore and terror, then her books will NOT interest you.    A couple of her favorite movies are The Sixth Sense and The Changling and a couple of the books that had considerable influence on her writing genre was The Reincarnation of Audrey Rose and The Shining (which is a little more on the horror side than she prefers but she loved the premise of the story). Those should give you a clue as to the types of stories that interest her because she writes what she enjoys reading (or watching on the big screen), but with her own unique twist of course.
