About the Author

A little about me: I grew up on a small farm where I developed a hard work ethic, and a love for animals. We struggled as a family, but I didn't realize at the time that we were poor. To me, I had the entire world as my playground. My friends and I went on adventures in the mountains, built forts, and went camping every chance we got. When I was twelve, my dad taught me the joys of fly-fishing, and my love of the outdoors continued to expand. Today, I'm becoming a story-teller where I can show you the magical world my mind grew up in. Many of my life experiences have come as I continue to serve my country by working for the brave men and women in uniform.The Shards of Aegis series started out as a creative writing assignment when I was in highschool.
