Maav Draxmoor’s world is turned upside down when a foreign prince is driven into her family lands. He tells her a tale of a powerful sorcerer pursuing him to retrieve the artifact he now carries. Their task is not easy, for the people that should be the guardians of the world have proven petty and vain, keeping mankind enfeebled. For Maav and Aven time is not on their side as the winds of war begin to scour the land.
