Fragment from this story:We walk away, but only after Louis gets in a confrontation with all of the officers there. All men are screaming and shouting at Louis, it goes back and forth.The chopper is ready to take us back. I throw up right before we take off. And once seated in the helicopter I manage to take a nap.Louis wakes me up when we land, sometime later. There are a few officers at the airport waiting on us, surely to say something about the fight I had with those two, back at the crash scene.After we land, they put us in a patrol car and take us to the station. I wish I could shower and sleep for a few hours, I am exhausted.A gloomy guy has been riding with us all the way back, from the crash site.He is not from this side.********I take a deep breath and stretch on my bed. I feel well rested this morning. I slept well; the alcohol we drank last night might have helped me relax some.Sleep is a luxury to me.I open my eyes and see him, sitting on the edge of my bed. It’s the same gloomy guy that has been sticking around for two days now.“Can you see me?” He asks me.I stretch some more and say, in a sleepy voice, “Well, of course. I thought you were gone for good.”“It all felt like I was dreaming this whole time.” He says to me.I get up and scratch my head a little. I walk to the living room. Louis is sound asleep on the sofa. I take the recorder from his shirt – that hangs on a chair to avoid wrinkles– and go to the kitchen to make some coffee.The strange guy follows me around, keeping his distance.“What’s your name?” I finally ask.“Henry.”
