For the past eleven plus years young Tyler Stanton experiences the same dream over and over again. It's the funeral of his father, tragically gunned down while saving a little girl caught in a wild shootout between rival gang factions in a turf war. A strange man in a white suit as well as other odd bits and pieces of the dream continually haunt him. Why? Even as Tyler struggles to unlock the meaning of his dream, along comes pretty Jessica to complicate his familiar and aimless slog through high school. She's one of the "Jesus freaks" on the loose in the place and from the moment she introduces herself, she won't leave him alone! But, there are other unusual and horrible things happening as well.
