Everyone thought Jillian Brackenridge was crazy because she treated her dolls as if they were alive. She would talk to them, read stories to them and even throw them birthday parties. When Jillian died, she left everything to her niece, Morganna. Including her doll collection. Morganna Marwood didn't have the easiest of childhoods. In fact, if it weren't for her Great-Aunt Jillian, she wouldn't know what unconditional love was. She knew her aunt could be a little eccentric, so she wasn't surprised when she learned that one of the conditions for her inheritance was to take care of the dolls. They are just dolls, how hard could that be right? When Morganna moves into the old Victorian house, strange things start happening. Morganna's entire world and everything she thinks she believes get turned upside down when she begins to realize that maybe Jillian wasn't so crazy after all.
