Flinch: A Collection of Short Stories

FLINCH is a collection of 9 short stories that deal with bizarre and occasional horrific themes. INTO THE DARKNESS deals with a woman being tormented in her dreams by an unknown predator. UNIT 11 is a strange tale that takes place on a children's ward at the state asylum in the 1970's. THE HUSTLER is a short snippet about a young man trying to make his way through life turning tricks but never realizing the dangers he could face. A SUMMER OF CHANGE is about a teenage boy who finds a new friend to spend his summer days with...a friend that isn't what he seems. LESSONS LEARNED shows a woman and her lover who plans to murder her husband during a violent hurricane. Things don't always go as planned. WEEKEND GETAWAY is a story about Brian who goes off on a boating trip for the weekend with his lifelong friend and other guests. The party gets a little out of hand. DEAR DIARY is about young woman's diary entries of her deranged world in the distant future and what mankind has become. THE BEST DAY OF HIS LIFE is a tale of a man and his thoughts, sitting in a dark room waiting for absolution...or not. TRAVELS is about an exhibit in a local museum where the visitors and museum attendant suddenly find themselves living in another time and place.
