Mr. Leviticus, everyone's favorite neurotic accounting clerk is back, returning to the human realm for another adventure. This time, for his own employee evaluation in his first face to face meeting with his boss, the Archangel Uriel. If you think Mr. Leviticus is out of this world, just wait until you get a load of Uriel, the hard drinking, wise cracking Archangel who's been here since the beginning. The flamboyant Uriel takes a little getting used to, and Mr. Leviticus is as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. It doesn't take Uriel long to realize something is bothering Leviticus, and he determines his clerk has a strange fascination with Christian Brenner, better known as Lucifer, the evil and cunning Adversary. Mr. Leviticus, always the professional, believes he needs insider information on Brenner to counter his evil intentions, and Uriel does his best to educate Leviticus on his Adversary with Uriel's own report on Brenner from the late 1960's. Welcome to the world of Christian Brenner, the master of evil. Soon you'll realize like Mr. Leviticus, not only is Brenner very much like us, but we're all a little like him also. Hang on for a bizarre cast of characters, all with plots and scams of their own, and some wild twists and turns you won't see coming. All in all, the Adversary makes for one Devil of a good time.
