Chambers which also introduced the King in Yellow and the Yellow Sign, then all those elements were incorporated into the Cthulhu Mythos by H. P. Lovecraft. It also includes the work from another author that Chamber's monstrous royal derived his darker deviation from that of Bierce's more humble beginnings - who could it be?
