Tuscan Masters: The Cure

The so-called 'Tuscan Masters', residents of the small town of Pescia and the spa city of Montecatini, is an old Combine that has its fingers in every significant international economic development. When the Company mysteriously loses its presiding officer, Prince Fortunato dei Sabini Pontano, his daughter, Sibylla, steps into the breach, only to be kidnapped and then physically waste away, as per a curse which has afflicted the women of her family since the Middle Ages due to an injustice wrought by a Crusader ancestor. But the brush with this age-old evil has taught the family how to defend itself by recourse to the practices of ancient wisdom. Among the members of her clan who are well practiced in these arts, none is more adept than Sibylla’s great aunt, Florinda. Facing the threatened imminent extinction of the family, the Grand Dame summons together the world-wide members of her family to join forces in putting an end to the curse.
