Immolation: Render Book One

IMMOLATION is a work of dark fiction that combines elements of the supernatural thriller, horror, and modern tragedy. David Marikuus is an artist, a creator of visual illusions on canvas. He is a man haunted by his past, and struggling for a future. Times are tough and without mercy. An encounter with Tahlia reignites David's creativity. He believes his luck has changed . . . but not all change is good. Tahlia is both beautiful and terrible. Driven by inner demons, she will eradicate what she perceives to be tainted in this world. She must . . . she is compelled. Frank Pesicka and John Phillips are experienced homicide detectives, but a new nightmare has emerged from the darkness. There is a brutal poetry in the designs of the slayings. The brand of a dagger piercing a rose marks each victim. There is no forensic evidence and no witnesses, while the body count rises. Joseph Gaff is on a mission. He must bring Tahlia back from whence she came. It is a task not easily realized, she has been imbued with supernatural abilities. Gaff is not without his own tricks, however. There will come a reckoning.
