Adam Richardson, a once-promising FBI agent, has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Now relegated to his small apartment in Northwest Arkansas after being hospitalized for six months, Adam is given a reprieve when his old partner contacts him and says he needs Adam’s help. Recently promoted to a small unit under the oversight of the Department of Homeland Security, he wants Adam to help him investigate highly classified cases involving ghosts, aliens, witches, and other paranormal and fringe science events.
