A noir story set in a bleak Devon Edwardian landscape. The Angel From The Sea is a supernatural story and describes the events that occur after a middle-class young lady called Clara prays for assistance against her engineering father who has been savagely brutal towards her since her birth.Now aged eighteen, her prayers conjures one of the oldest feminine forces in the world and who appears as the uncontrollable Moganna.However, having demanded the presence of this ungovernable female intelligence, Clara and her heinous family consisting of, her father, Reginald, the town’s architect, Oscar, the town’s doctor and, Cedric, the town’s Hell and Damnation vicar, the most heinous and evil triplet of brothers, find themselves at the mercy of Moganna’s ruthlessness and inhumanity as she attends to Clara’s prayers.Moganna refers to herself as an angel, but as the innocent and naive Clare soon discovers, a better name for the power she has unleashed from the sea is, a Cacodaemon.
