In the vein of Stephen King’s 1980 & 90’s horror stories that involve small-town terrors, where tragedy strikes everyday people. Angie Stone, a young reporter for the small, dying Pennsylvanian newspaper the Sentinel, starts questioning the heroin deaths in the town of Springwood, PA. Meanwhile, the rookie cop, Pete Anderson is struggling to adapt to the “bro-like” culture of the local police department. However, everything changes after a slew of gruesome murders occur at the Montgomery Smith funeral home and tie the two stories together. As a blizzard engulfs the small town, its history, its heroin problem and the gruesome murders all come together for a chilling and chaotic finish. Who will survive—if any, and ultimately, will the mysteries of this small town finally be revealed?
