What if you found not a cure, but a way to stop the spread of the HIV virus until a cure could be found? What if your overzealous Government ordered the production and distribution of this substance, even though you were not given adequate time for research and testing? What if this substance, once induced into a body, shut down not only all biological reproductive organs, but sexual libido as well? What if this led to extreme violence, frustration and massive depression among the populations induced with this substance, as well as other negative effects such as rapid aging? Dr. Donna Taylor, the discoverer and manufacturer of the AA hormone, or the anti-androgen hormone, must find a reversal or a solution to the effects. Will she and her two young colleagues have the time and the resources to accomplish this? Can they save mankind from extinction?
From the Inside Flap
Kuamay woke up with a buzzing in her ears. She tried to roll over but couldn't manage to move. She felt dizzy and nauseous, and did not remember where is was, or what had happened. Her eyes were swollen, and she forced them to open to look around. She smelled the coppery odor of blood, and heard the buzzing of many insects. She managed to raise herself up on her arm, and prop herself against some logs in the hut that were piled there for cooking fires. What had happened, she questioned herself? She crawled over to a barrel filled with water, and took a few sips from the wooden dipper. She wanted to wet her eyes to ease the stinging, and to fully open them to see better. She looked down at her clothing, meaning to tear a piece to use to wipe her eyes, and gasped in surprise! She was dressed in her wedding attire, which was now torn and bloodied. Suddenly her memories returned with shocking clarity. Yesterday she had married her beloved Omarnus. They had a wonderful celebration, and then among many blessings, were pushed into their new hut. Then...then.., Kuamay sobbed hysterically. Omarnus had tried to take her as his mate, and had failed again and again to consummate their marriage. In a rage, he blamed Kuamay, and had beat her senseless in his fury! It is my fault, she thought, for she also had no desire to be intimate with Omarnus herself! She had no arousal, or excitement, and wanted no part of the act that would unite her and Omarnus as husband and wife! Also both she and Omarnus had become tired and listless, almost as though they had aged overnight! She did not know where Omarnus had gone, but she hoped he never returned! ............................................................................................................................
