In October of 1922, a small expedition entered the dense tropical forests of India in search of a long-lost shrine. Led by an American jungle guide, Edward Preston, and his Sikh partner, Khan Singh, the men were filled with hopes of documenting the mysterious site for the world to study. When they arrived, however, they found that the ancient ruins were haunted by a legendary terror right out of Hindu myth. Soon, the thoughts of archaeological glory were gone, replaced by hopes of survival. It would take all of their combined experience and courage to defeat the monster ... if the explorers did not kill each other first ...
